  The prodigal son and the elder brother. We are both, it's in us all. We are weird people. We stand in the presence of unlimited unconditional love that says I forgive you. We say yea right! We go through life believing we are half way forgiven and the other half we are suspicious of God, ever clinging to our guilt and shame, always beating ourselves up over it.
