Heb 1:1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Heb 1:2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds.
What are the "last days" he's speaking of? It's the days he spoke to the fathers in the language of prophet. He's saying those days have come to an end. A new day has dawned, this is the day the Lord has made. We no longer live in the day of the divers manners and many portions. God has changed the language. Now he speaks "in Son". The final word from God is Jesus Christ.

The bible is a book that is written for me today. It doesn't tell me about the unknown eons of time because I'm not living there. God is a very practical God, he tells me all that I need to know. It's ever unfolding. It is the revelation of Jesus Christ. As we will see, that which is to be absolutely and completely true in eternity is definitively and progressively true now. It is "Now...not yet!" We are not simply to look forward to the blessings of Revelation 21 in some distant future but to enjoy them and rejoice in them now and extend them now. John was telling the early church of present realities, blessing that existed already and would be on the increase as the Gospel went forth and renewed the earth.

Understanding the Book of Hebrews is a key to the entire bible. It's the one book that puts the rest of the bible together. It's the great search light that not only takes in the New Testament but it goes right back to the beginning of the Old Testament and gradually goes through it, explaining it and showing us where it was all leading. It's the Holy Spirit's commentary on the whole bible, especially the first five books.

In Revelation 21, John is announcing that the old local sanctuary is gone and from now on, the Presence is with his church. God is making himself visible in and through them by the Holy Spirit. The Holy City, New Jerusalem, has the Glory of God, a jasper stone, clear as crystal. God's visible Presence is in this city. Ezekiel says the name of the city is "The Lord is There". The street of gold means that God's tabernacle is built out of the pure in heart.

The Feast of Tabernacles was the most joyous of all Israel's feast. It was the final ingathering before winter beginning on the 15th day of the 7th month. It reminded Israel, on one hand, of their dwelling in booths in the wilderness, while on the other hand, it pointed to the final harvest when Israel's mission should be completed. That being the ingathering of all nations unto the Lord. Jesus said, "It is finished". Every one of the feasts of the Lord found it's focus in the finished work of Jesus Christ, the out pouring of the Holy Spirit and the bringing to birth of the New Israel, both Jew and Gentile, joined together in Christ, the Church.

Religion hinges on decision. “Make your decision for Christ”. Here’s the decision- we are living by HIS decision. The resolutions we make which includes altar calls, revivals, rededication’s. All the stuff religion brought in. We live by HIS decision. Jesus met the once and final “altar call in his cross”. He is the revival because HE raised from the dead. He has Dedicated himself to us and it’s called New Covenant! It’s not “I made a decision for Christ”. It’s He made a decision about Us! Before creation began, the decision of God was that you would be placed In Union with Christ! So that you would live yet not I Christ lives in me! Your “decision for Christ” is accepting your already acceptance. He accepted you before you were born. Are you living in BC ( before Christ) or AD (Anno Domini) the year of our Lord?

The thousand year reign of Christ and the binding of Satan. Is it a literal 1000 years? How do we interpret the Book of Revelation? The first chapter gives us the key, it is the revelation of Jesus Christ. Revelation, (apokalupsis) means to pull back the curtain and let the light come flowing in. So here in the last book of the bible, when you come to read this book, you are going to have an overwhelming revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore when I come to this book, I don't look for antichrist and dragons and beasts. The Holy Spirit promises it will be a revelation of Jesus in his glory. Here is a book that is the revelation of Jesus that is given to me in signs and symbols. It's the one book in the bible that God says to the world, it's none of your business. The world can't understand this book and they are not meant to.

The Day of Atonement took place on the 10th day of the 7th month. The 7th month closed the festive cycle, the Feast of Tabernacles on the 15th of that month being the last in the year. Before that grand festival of harvesting and thanksgiving, Israel must, as a nation, be reconciled unto God. Only a people at peace with God might rejoice before him. The Day of Atonement becomes so important as preceding the Feast of Tabernacles when we remember how that feast of harvesting prefigured the final ingathering of all nations. Also note that the Jubilee year was always proclaimed on the Day of Atonement.

The great tribulation from Matthew 24 was the end of a race, the burial of God's covenant people. It's not a nice subject, but great tribulation never is. What do I do? I certainly don't look to national Israel as the fulfillment of God's plan and purpose. I don't waste my time looking at the middle east to see what God is doing. Jesus said "It is finished". All the prophecy of the Old Testament pointed to and found it's fulfillment in the finished work of Jesus Christ. If you want to look for God's purposes, look to his remnant, the true Israel of God, the Church.

There is enormous attention placed upon "the land" of Israel. The attention is political as well as doctrinal. They call it the "holy land". Now what does the bible speak of when it speaks of the land of Israel? We will never understand the flow of scriptures unless we understand the place of "the land" of Israel in it's prophecy's and promises and what is happening today.
