What is leading you in daily living? As a believer you should have zero relationship with the law of Moses including the 10 commandments for daily living. It's a free fall into Jesus. We are led by his Spirit. We are NOT under the law. If you want a surefire way to fail then put yourself under a bunch of laws. You can call them Christian principles. You can check in everyday with God about your church attendance, bible reading and witnessing. Jesus is not a principle, he is the Rock of my salvation. The fruit of the spirit is not witnessing, bible reading or church attendance. The fruit of the spirit is love. The law is fulfilled in the New Covenant as God our Father deposits an incorruptible love inside of us.

The resurrection life of Christ Jesus in you is not mystical. The resurrection life of Christ Jesus in you is the way you treat a waitress, the way you treat your neighbor, the way you treat your co-workers. That is spiritual warfare. We stand in the middle of this present evil world as the salt of the earth, the light of the world. We do so in the authority of Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Does living under grace mean the Old Testament is irrelevant? Can we call Jesus our high priest and still look to the law? Don't let anyone tell you the new covenant is just an extension of the old or a continuation of the old. The book of Hebrews has a totally different message. It says there is a great divide and that divide is the cross of Jesus.

All of our life is under the heading of spiritual warfare. The very fact of our being alive in Christ is an act of aggression into the darkness. We do spiritual warfare by continually bringing the finished work of Christ in to the present moment. To "remember" is something you do. You are bringing the past into the present moment. You don't need a revival, altar call, another move of God, or to get forgiven again. You need to remember!

Did the New Testament begin with the birth of Jesus? Many of us thought the birth of Jesus was the dividing line between the Old and New Testament. We think it's the dividing line of history. Then we find God has called us to a 33 year shift in our thinking. Understanding the proper dividing line brings us to another question, did all that Jesus taught apply to believers? Some call themselves "red letter" Christians meaning they set out to obey everything Jesus said in "red letters" in the Gospels. How do you think that's going when Jesus is talking about cutting off body parts and plucking out you eyes?

In Daniel 7, we see four beasts coming up out of the sea. The fourth beast promising hope and change. These are an image of the nations of the world. In some way they are expressions of evil. The sea is an image of evil, the churning sea, filled with evil and chaos and death. In the days of that last beast, the Roman Empire, we see the Son of Man coming to the Ancient of Days, who is the judge of the universe. The Son of Man wasn't coming to the earth, he was coming from the earth to the Ancient of Days. It's the ascension of Jesus. To him was given all authority in both heaven and earth.

Is it true that you only remained saved as long as you keep the faith? We see the little word "if" and we start quaking in our boots. Am I going to be able to fulfill what is on the other side of this "if". Today will be looking at the difficult passages of Colossians 1:21-23 and 1 Corinthians 15: 1-2. God is NOT telling us to hold on for dear life. What he is telling us is that he is holding us!

After Jesus is baptized and declared to be the Messiah (the seed of the woman) by the dove, the Holy Spirit directs him to go find Satan. Satan came to find the first Adam in a beautiful garden full of food. The last Adam goes seeking Satan into a desert wilderness after forty days of being without food. The Champion has come, he's come into everything evil has done. He has come to heal the broken hearted, the broken bodies, set at liberty the captives. He has come to destroy the works of the devil.

Paul's struggle in Romans 7, is this the normal Christian life? Paul's goal in Romans 7 is keeping the Law. Is keeping the Law the believers goal? The question is this, was Paul the Apostle, as a Christian, struggling under the Law and trying to keep the Law and failing day in and day out, or, was this Paul before salvation, as a devote Jew, a Pharisee, trying to please God and earn God's favor by keeping the Law.

Only after seeing this "present evil age", can you begin to see, "For God so loved the world". Many think "god so loved us, the good guys! No! God so loved the world and that love has definition. "That he gave his only begotten Son. The love of God can only be understood in the giving of Jesus.
