Paul's struggle in Romans 7, is this the normal Christian life? Paul's goal in Romans 7 is keeping the Law. Is keeping the Law the believers goal? The question is this, was Paul the Apostle, as a Christian, struggling under the Law and trying to keep the Law and failing day in and day out, or, was this Paul before salvation, as a devote Jew, a Pharisee, trying to please God and earn God's favor by keeping the Law.

Only after seeing this "present evil age", can you begin to see, "For God so loved the world". Many think "god so loved us, the good guys! No! God so loved the world and that love has definition. "That he gave his only begotten Son. The love of God can only be understood in the giving of Jesus.

Victory over evil powers is meant to be a triumphant subject. In order to understand the victory, you have understand what I'm talking about. That is victory over evil. Evil has encompassed the entire human race. That is what salvation means Gal 1:4 Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father. When we pray the "Lord's Prayer", it's over against the present evil.

Can you fall from grace and loose your salvation? No matter what kind of teaching you've been brought up in, somewhere along the line you've probably heard that you could mess things up. That you could fall out of God's grace and go back to being unsaved. Is this true? NO!

Eph 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. In the Old Testament the Hebrews would put on outer garments to display an inward condition. The believer has been born again, he has a new heart and spirit. Now his outer actions need to express his new inner conditions. Peter calls this making your calling and election sure.

Did God predestinate certain people to believe and others have no choice? What's really going on with predestination? There is an incredible revelation here for you. That is predestination is not about individual selection. Predestination is one of the most dividing doctrines in Christianity today but it was supposed to bring people together. God's whole intention was to take two groups of people and bring them together as one.

This is the now, living Jesus, coming to you in the person of the Holy Spirit who actually instructs you and molds your mind and thinking. He doesn't manipulate you but shows you truth in such a way that you'll change your mind in the direction of truth. He is a guide to the travelers that find themselves in unknown territory.

We aren't about making a Christian form of government, there is no such thing. Jesus said "My kingdom is not of this world". I'm not here to bring another beast out of the sea, and call it a calm beast. We are in the world not of it. But in the world, where ever we find ourselves, we are the light of the world and we are the salt of the world.

Studies show that aggression and violence is a form of status building among young males. When man exchanges the glory that God gives for something else, then he is left to carve out an identity according to the flesh apart from Christ. When you exchange the Glory of God for something else you have to go identity building. How can people be drawn to such violence? It's because people are trying to carve out an identity. Why is this stuff happening? They don't know God and their heart is dead to him. It's why they approve and are even proud and promote evil. You can't legislate Jesus. You can't legislate Love. You can't legislate acceptance. You can't legislate mercy. No politics, policies or through force will make people loving. Who can heal America? King Jesus!
