It's because we brought in our belief system of what we think life is all about. You are saved, now we have to get your mind saved. That is the process. That is the adventure. Jabez Breaking Free Part 6

Why would Jabez say, "enlarge my boarders", because he had not taken his boarders. Why would he not have taken his boarders? A person who has no sense of worth, no sense of value, who sees themselves as "sorrow", that view is going to be reflected in everything you do. Jabez didn't believe he could take what had been given to him. So he had just let it go, go to his neighbors, go to weeds and wilderness. Be Strong

  The normal of man outside of Christ is fear. Fear is the dominate energy. Fear stands is awe of the difficulty, of the impossibility. Fear backs off then feels the condemnation of being so weak and ashamed of it's own inability. But courage in Christ stands in AWE/WONDER, beholding God love. This love that God is, casts out all fear. Courage stands in awe and wonder that, I - me, has been united to Jesus in his resurrection. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is now released in me. That's who I am.   The entire gospel hangs on Jesus being raised from the dead. If he didn't rise up the entire operation was a complete failure and we are still in our sins. This isn't some sidebar event. It's the human race turned a corner in their history and they can never go back. A new age has dawned upon us.   2Ch 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. This is an Old Testament scripture that has be fulfilled by Jesus. What is holding us back from the promises of God is courage. If we don't have courage we won't connect with the power to bring the promises to pass.
