  We are a nation without boundaries because no one knows who they are in Christ. We are the temple of the Holy Spirit. As we mature into identity in Christ, we become as a body of people the light of the world. You are revealing Christ in your actions. We are called to reveal Christ to the world, to change our culture. We become living epistles, a living demonstration of the gospel. That is how we worship him, it is your reasonable service!   I find my identity as a person in who Christ is in me. My sense of worth doesn't come from how you look at me whether for good or bad. My identity comes from I know who I am, I know what God has done for me, I know what God thinks of me and I know who he is within me. Identification means I have accepted who I am. Being comes before doing. When I know who I am then doing who I am becomes easy. Legalism says, "Do and then you will become" but grace says, "you are, so do!"   We are potential God talkers and God listeners. You sit at the same kitchen table with the Trinity and you have the faculties to hear God speak to you and you have the faculties to speak to God.   Israel was free from Egypt but always dreamed of going back. Why did they do that? It's because they never understood the place that Egypt held in their lives. Egypt had had a place in their lives at one time but it's over now. Egypt was the arena in which God's grace and power was made known to them but it's over now. If we move into a new understanding of truth, a new commitment to Christ, we have to bring the old to it's proper conclusion. Otherwise it won't drop off and it will be like an invisible chain to the past. There has to be an end of the old so the new can properly begin. How to Hear the Voice of God Part 2

  Hearing the voice of God sets the whole tone of scriptures. What we call faith is people who made a positive response to that voice. They believed that voice and acted on that voice. The Church has drifted so far from that it's scary! Millions of believers who know all about Jesus but they've never heard his voice. Countless believers who live in the very presence of God but have never spoken to him and don't believe it's possible to hear his voice. 2Sa 14:28 So Absalom dwelt two full years in Jerusalem, and saw not the king's face.

So that this creature would be capable of knowing the love of the Father, capable of receiving that love and capable of responding to that love.   Romans 10:6-10 Here's what it's all about, Jesus Christ is Lord! People say, make me more like you Jesus so they dedicate and rededicate and make promises and say prayers and try to be good enough. Jesus Christ is Lord! He did it. Jesus himself is salvation, he is who it's all about. He is the blessing and he is the promise. Jesus himself is the love of God towards you and in you and through you to others. What is our part? Obedience of faith. The confession upon which our salvation stands is Not Jesus will you be Lord in my life, it's Jesus Christ is Lord - it's done.
