The person of the Lord Jesus is the manna. He is the daily provision. One of his names means "a wonder". In him is the total answer. The "World" is a system of thinking based on the lie. It's a system of believing that flourishes best inside religion. Sometimes the system is called "law", sometimes "karma", sometimes "contract". There is no connection between the grace of God and the love he has for us and a system of working by rules and seeking acceptance in my behavior. Israel had gotten away from the faith of Abraham so the Law was added. The law wasn't given to show men how to become righteous but rather to show him his condition and how badly he needed the way of grace through faith. Thus the law was to drive man back to the covenant made with Abraham.
