When you first see Christ inwardly, you are struck with the absolute need to be clothed in him. You don't run from the cross when you see him, you run to it. When you see him you realize that what you are doesn't need to be adjusted or fixed, it needs to be destroyed and put away. Living By Faith

  So how does God bring about a corporate Son? He takes a people that were not a people but a bunch of slaves. He brings them all into one death. He gathers them together at the door. For what? To kill the lamb. They are gathered up into one death, one burial, and then brought fort in one resurrection. Israel is my Son even my first born.  God is not interested in people imitating Jesus when he has already given us the life of his Son.
