Paul's petitions weren't good ideas about what would be nice for God to do. It wasn't a spiritual discipline. It wasn't him repeating back to God things that God told him to pray. They weren't requesting that God "fix" Paul. Prayer was quite simply the mind of the Lord coursing through Paul's very soul in the form of desire and petition.

Galatians Part 39

In Galatians 2:19-20, how does Paul live unto God? He says "I am crucified with Christ". This is the death of Christ offered to us as "the Door". In this death we face as believers you lose nothing of value. You don't lose righteousness, you lose your concept of righteousness, that concept you attempted to define and measure in your own self called the "Ego".
 It's my soul being separated from every natural perversion, every imagination I've attempted to bring to my self and define it there...I'm able to let it go.

Does God Love Me?

  If you are only interested in the knowing the answer to the question, does God love me? Then the answer is Yes, absolutely, more than words could ever describe. But that tells you nothing about the love of God. The only question then is Not if God loves us...but do we know the love of God? Do we walk in the truth of the love of God? The love of God is not what he feels for you it's the SON that he has given to you.
